A glossy white fleur-de-lis is pressed into a matte blue shield tile made at the Franklin Tile Company (1923-1935) in Lansdale PA. The tile measures 9" tall and 6 1/2" wide. The edges have been glazed so that the shield could be face mounted. It has three impressed marks on the back "Franklin Pottery Faience". In very good condition with a few glaze pops in the white glaze and a few nicks and rubs along the edges.
