Large California Art Tile Deco Fireplace Feature Architectural Antique

The California Art Tile Company worked in Richmond California between they years 1923-1962. This Art Deco period tile is decorated with swags and ribbons and medallion. It was meant to be used as a feature centered over the opening of a tiled fireplace. This tile was never installed. It has a couple of dark spots under the glaze and has a damaged corner. It was chipped and a piece was reglued. Height: 5.8 in. (14.73 cm) Depth: .7 in. (1.78 cm) Width: 17.75 in. (45.08 cm) Nice clear mark on the back.
