2018 Domaine Vocoret et Fils Blanchot Grand Cru, Chablis, Burgundy, France

Grand Cru Blanchots, which lies between Montée de Tonnerre and Les Clos, is named for its very white limestone soils. The most southeastern grand cru, this vineyard yields a more floral and feminine wine revealing its finest character from five to twelve years after the vintage date. Ripe and warming tones come from this intensely fused, generous on the palate. Powerful with vibrant acidity and a long, smooth finish. The grands crus wines are fermented entirely in oak barrels (350lt) for 8 to 10 months.
