These Breadvacs for herbs can hold up to 1.5 pounds – this always depends upon the density of the product. This is a pretty big container and has problems in smaller cupboards measuring almost (15”/ 36cm) tall. Our Vacs were designed to allow products to breath allowing gasses to slowly leak out maintaining the perfect environment for freshness. For this reason some herbs need to be packaged properly in our Vacs to achieve a smell proof situation. We recommend a quality sealable plastic bag. This is all it takes.
