No writing or markings in the book, 303 pp.  This was Vidal's sixth book of essays. Subjects include Henry James, Nancy Reagan, Oscar Wilde, Oliver North, Hollywood, Mongolia, Anthony Burgess, Italo Calvino, Henry James and Dawn Powell (Vidal is almost singlehandly responsible for the resurgence of interest in the writings of Powell).
