An erratum slip tipped-in on the title page.  This was the authors second book. The story is a spy thriller that concerns a young man who feels lost and hopeless after being expelled from school. Leaving university, and forced to resign from the army, the opportunity to join a British Government security organization is too tempting.  Simon Raven was an English author, best remembered for his humour and louche lifestyle.
