No writing and other than former owner sticker on flyleaf, no markings in the book, 144 pp.  This was the author's first novel, about the decline of a village in southwest Ireland. Brendan Kennelly (1936-2021) was a great Irish poet and novelist. He was Professor of Modern Literature at Trinity College Dublin until 2005.
