Like so many others he had been compelled by something to roam into the desert that day. Wasn’t normal for it to call the locals but there he went. We all saw him standing there then that burst of white then he was gone. People still see him from time to time but the story is never good. Can you believe the tests used to be a big tourist draw in the 50s? Don’t know what they were thinking but it was big business. Everyone wanted to be an atomic somethin’ or othevr.
