This B&M Precision SportShifter is designed for 1984-2006 BMW 3 Series, 1987-2006 BMW M3, and 1996-2002 BMW 5 Series with all gas engines. It offers up to a 25% reduction in throw, delivering the ultimate in smooth short shifter technology. The shift stick features a two-piece design: a billet T6061 clear anodized aluminum upper stick assembly containing high compression internal O-rings to help reduce vibrations from the drivetrain, and a billet 416 stainless steel lower stick in the CNC-machined 6061 aluminum shift housing assembly, which includes oil-impregnated bronze and polymer fiber composite spherical bearings, resulting in reduced shift effort for smooth, short, and precise shifts.
