A Bit About The Piece A charming treasure, this estate 14 karat yellow gold solitaire ring is bezel set with an unusual "bud cut" morganite gemstone.  The cut appears to be custom, with the pointed tip being a welcome deviation to what's standard for a bud cut.  Weighing 5.26 carats, the morganite is large enough for the back facets to create a mesmerizing fan-effect.  There is a small chip to the girdle of the stone in an area, which is featured in one of the photos; as a result, the ring is being sold "as-is."  The ring is a US size 9.00 and can readily be sized.
