Attilio Salemme "The End of The Game" Oil on Canvas  1946 16"H x 30W"  Provenance:  Mrs. Browne Cohane, New York City, USA  Estate of Drue and H.J. Heinz II (Jack), Sewickley Heights, Pennsylvania  Dargate Auction, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Exhibited:  Columbus Gallery of Fine Arts The Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston Massachusetts  Housed in original black strip wood frame. Painting was professionally restored in 2022 by Carol Abercauph. Conservation methods included cleaning, filling of paint loss areas on edges, and sealing. Cracks to oil are present throughout. Reverse of painting includes labels from exhibits and ownership mentioned above. Christie's appraisal sticker adhered to outside left corner of frame.   Price includes crating, and insured shipping in USA. Please inquire with any additional questions.
