Xylocain 5% Ointment - Lidocaine 5% Active Ingredient Lidocaine 5% Indications Temporary Relief: Pain and itching associated with minor burns, sunburns, minor cuts, scrapes, insect bites, or minor skin irritations. Recommended Use General Pain Relief: Apply to the affected area for temporary relief of pain and/or itching. Pre-Procedure Pain Minimization: Needle Insertion: Collagen injections, electrolysis Hair Removal: Laser hair removal, waxing Laser Treatments Tattoo: Piercing or removal Dosage Adults and Children 2 Years and Older: Apply to the affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Cosmetic or Skin Procedures: Apply approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour before the procedure.
