Boiler Water Treatment (pH) 50% Solution - 310 Gallons

Boiler AlkalinityChemWorld 1325 is a highly concentrated Sodium Hydroxide/ Potassium Hydroxide solution. ChemWorld 1325 is a 50% solution. Each ppm of the product contributes 0.63 ppm of alkalinity as CaCO3. If your EH&S department requires a lower concentration, ChemWorld 1425 is a 25% solution of NaOH. Steam boilers require a higher pH. Higher pH ranges: Minimize corrosion to the boiler tubes. Minimizes Silica plating tendencies in high pressure boilers. Ensures the polymer can properly function at keeping hardness in solution for blowdown. This product is commonly used in mid to large steam boilers to increase the boiler water pH. Consider using pH water strips or alkalinity test kits to monitor the boiler water pH. This product should be fed into the storage section of the DA tank or near the center of the feed water tank with a chemical injection quill.
