Mary Susan

Mary Susan is the epitome of the Hawaiian lei flower with large, colorful blooms spanning an astounding 4.5" across. Broad petals make room for a thick, pink stripe on white petals intermingling with a starburst yellow center. Petals do not overlap or fold, giving the appearance of a windmill with it's defining pink stripe. Under sides of the blooms also showcase the dark pink stripe. Mary Susan portrays a tall growth habit, but branches nicely with regular pruning. Mary Susan also has a dependable rooting habit with regard to mid or stem cuttings.
