Spathiphyllum, commonly called "Peace Lily" are native to the forest floors of tropical Central America and Southeast Asia. Bright, indirect light is preferred but they can tolerate moderately low light. Water them thoroughly when top one-third of soil is dry to the touch. Peace Lilies commonly wilt or faint when in need of water and are toxic to pets.
