Celebrating 10 years of Byas & Leon, it is our pleasure to introduce one of two hand cut & sewn shirts, this one being named “Fleurs a Vivre” (“flowers to live by”)Featuring a lightweight 100% rayon poplin fabric with an ultra soft feel, and small flowers of different types all throughout. Hand cut & sewn by a small tailoring shop in Cap Haïtien, Haiti, led by longtime craftswoman Josie :)This was Byas & Leon’s original mission when we started in 2012, to connect with grass roots tailors of our native Haiti and pay them better than a so-called “living wage” - giving them a pathway towards building more prosperous lives with.We are staunchly anti sweatshop, inhumane working conditions and hours, etc - our tailors are everyday mothers and fathers that give an honest day’s work and go home to their families. All while navigating Haiti’s volatile socio-political climate. So please note that each shirt will be slightly different - giving them *more character, not less. Every
