It has a "Migration" design painted around the perimeter. Vernida uses all natural pigments for her paints and fires her pottery outdoors the traditional way. Vernida is the daughter of Harold & Alice Polacca. She was taught by her grandmother, Fannie Nampeyo and is the great granddaughter of Nampeyo of Hano.
