D110 Dog Dish

This Dog Dish holds about 22 oz of liquid and measures approximately 6” by 2 1/2” high. The glaze I’ve chosen is a mixture of earthy greens and blues that break showing the brown clay beneath.  The outside of the dish has a bone on the front and the inside has the same rainbow  colors of earthy greens, toasty browns and rich shades  of blue.  Next, I’ve added a glaze called a “flux”.  I've  applied this flux on the top of the rim which  encourages the glaze to run. It looks like water falling over the top edge.      It is beautiful…. I’m sorry, but it really is !                                                                       #D110
