Production Process: The metal shades are made from a combination of deep drawing and spinning. Materials: Lacquered metal; black fabric covered cord and PVC domed canopy.  Jørn Utzon was a Danish architect who is best known for designing the iconic Sydney Opera House in Australia. Born in 1918, he studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen before setting up his own architectural practice.
