Antique Basket Bent Split Wood Hinged w/ Bail Red Paint Handmade Primitive AAFA

Hand made of split wood Oak? Painted flat red Hinged lid  Hinges and closure are made of wire as are handles Old time picnic basket ? This is a wonder piece.  Very sturdy.  No broken pieces on woven parts Measures 17" wide, 10" tall (not including handles), 9 1/2" deep. The depth of the basket when open is 6" The depth of the top is 3 1/2"  When open, the lid is cocked due to the angle of the hinge. See pictures as we consider them part of the description
