Medieval Bats Tray

About this Piece This listing is for one slab built black tray with hand carved medieval bats and striped rim. Glazed in black underglaze with clear on the top and a 22K gold accents outlining each bat requiring 3 kiln firings. Size Approx: 13.5" length x 7.25" width x .75" height Weight 1 lb 7 oz Materials White Stoneware Clay for functional pottery and lead free glazes, and 22K gold luster/overglaze. How it's Made Each piece is made by me, Lindsay Keating in my studio in southeastern PA. I throw each piece on the pottery wheel, trim it, sculpt any additional elements such as a handle/make any alterations, carve and/or paint by hand, glaze and fire it twice. Care Info This item is NOT food safe or microwave safe due to the gold luster! I recommend handwashing.
