Roading Rigs
Made from 1/2” shock cord to reduce shock to your dog’s joints and tendons when resistance roading. The benefits of roading for working sporting dogs are well known to handlers of pointing, sledding, retrieving, and tracking/treeing dogs. Chains are generally used, but they can be rough on your dog’s body. Abrupt stops as well as uneven/bumpy roads can contribute to repeated jarring shock to your dog when roading with traditional chains or ropes. These singles have identical rigging format to our double rigs with a load-rated swivel and snap-link. A hefty 4" heavy duty brass snap is attached to the ring on your dog's harness. We offer the option of a 304 SS snap-link that locks for handlers that prefer the additional security. Total length is approximately 17”. (Occasionally we use chrome plated solid brass when brass finish is unavailable)
