Oil on stretched canvas, 8” x 8” This little Harold and Maude painting is about the birth of my love for Cat Stevens. When I was about 6 or 7 my dad got cable, and that movie was always on. It scared me a little bit, but I really loved it, and I never changed the channel when I would re watch it. The soundtrack to the movie was all Cat Steven’s music. There were a lot of songs that came out of his Tea for Tillerman album. And.. Oat Straw Tea was one of the offers that Maude made to Harold.
