Opuntia erinacea is native to the south west USA. Each pad is covered with a thick covering of attractive brightly colored spines 1-2 inches long.  This is the silver white normal form. The flowers of this version can be light pink or yellow. It is very cold hardy, perhaps to zero degrees F. You are bidding on one pad. Beware of the barbed spines and glochids.
