Sparks Lane Sunrise

Sparks Lane Sunrise is perfect in any location in your home or office; but it is particularly spectacular over a fireplace, sofa, or bed when printed in a 24x36 size.  The story behind the image: Sparks Lane Sunrise was photographed in Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains. I love using natural framing in my nature photography. Here the sunrise is framed by dogwood trees. Capturing sunrises in Cades Cove takes extra effort as the gate does not open until sunrise. On occasion the gate is opened a little early which is what happened on this particular morning. Because I knew the spot that I wanted to photograph, I was able to go straight there to get this beautiful image of the sun breaking over the mountains. The purple colored sky was an unexpected bonus. I hope that you enjoy my Sparks Lane Sunrise image as much as I enjoyed photographing it.
