Very Fine England silver 2 pence or half groat coin. Struck for the second Tudor King Henry VIII at the Canterbury Mint directed by Archbishop Warham. Minted between 1526 to 1532, based on cross patonce mint mark (approx 12:30 within legend). Well struck with great portrait. Catalog: S-2343, 1.26g, approx 18mm. Obverse: Bust of Henry wearing crown facing right, hEnRIC+VIII+D+G+R+AGL+Z+H, Henry the Eighth by the Grace of God King of England and Ireland. Reverse: CIVITAS CAnTOR W A, English shield coat of arms with initials W A flanking (denoting Archbishop Warham), and mint name around. Certified by NGC to VF 20.
