Choice Fine Roman Egypt Alexandria billon tetradrachm coin. Minted for Augusta Faustina Jr. during the reign of her father Emperor Antoninus Pius. Struck in the 18th reign year of the Emperor, (denoted by letters IH) = 154/155 CE. Reverse type featuring the bust of the Egyptian God Serapis. Obverse: draped bust of Faustina facing right. Reverse: Bust of Serapis facing right, flanked by date letters: L  IH.  Emmett 1959/18, 13.56g (heavy flan), approx 21mm, considerable silvering.  Certified by NGC to Ch F Strike 5/5 Surface 5/5 (rare max subgrades). Very pleasing in hand.
