Very Fine William & Mary Great Britain silver 1/2 crown coin. Variety with obverse first bust & reverse first shield with pearls & no frosting. Certified by NGC to VF 30, superb portrait of the royal couple. This coin is an example were an argument can be made for split obverse/reverse grades. The obverse is an obvious XF, the reverse VF.  This coin nicer than any VF assigned grade I have seen. Coin is  toned, images are taken with oblique lighting to show the underlying luster, toning and design details. This shows what you would see by rotating the holder about a vertical axis relative to incident light. Very attractive original coin nice color in the fields, beautiful in hand.
