Children's Pottery Class

The Cageless Birds are excited to offer a pottery class for boys and girls ages 8-11! In this course, students will learn the basics of pottery, hand building, and wheel throwing techniques in a fun and safe environment. Throughout the 11-week class, students will be taught to reflect on the presence of God while they learn. We believe that God wants to redeem the learning process for everyone we minister to and we're excited to create a space where young girls and boys can encounter the presence of God while they learn this tangible and sacred art form.  Duration: Classes will be held once a week on Wednesdays, and this course covers 12 classes in total. Classes begin Wednesday, January 11th and run until Wednesday, March 29th.  Time: 4-5pm Where: A Place for the Heart, 4228 Beckerdite Rd., Sophia, NC 27350 Classes are led by our resident pottery teachers, Emily Pell, Erica Allen, Olivia Huffman and Ryan Mead, and are held on our property in Sophia, NC in our studio!
