The Reward

  Thirty years ago my mother, diagnosed with cancer, was given a word from a prophet: "You will have a son, and his name will be Jonathan David. He will know me, play the harp, and have a voice like an angel." Since she was scheduled for a hysterectomy, she wondered how could this be true, but she touched the hem of Jesus' garment and was made whole.  Thirty years later, I was given the following dream. My mom and dad were standing with Melissa and I on the road that overlooks the field at "A Place for the Heart." All of a sudden the prophet walked up to us, and I asked him if he would pray for us. He spoke a few words and then breathed on us; as he did, I began to hear music coming out of heaven. Suddenly, our eyes were opened, and we began to see lights dancing in the field.
