This Box contains one pack of seasoning for meat and one pack of thickener for gravy. Instructions for slow cooker roast & gravy: For 3-6 lb roasts in a 6 quart or larger pot Optional: Quickly sear the roast on all sides in a skillet. Whisk 6 cups water and Seasoning Pack in pot. Place roast in pot with seasoned water, wetting the top. Cook 8 hours on low setting or 4 hours on high. When the roast is cooked, remove it from the pot to rest. Turn pot to high. In a bowl, whisk 2 cups cold water with a pack of gravy thickener until smooth. Pour mixture into a pot, whisking into the gravy, cooking on high and stir until gravy is thickened to taste. Slice the roast and serve with gravy over rice or potatoes
