First Edition, one of 1000 copies on vélin teinté from a total edition of 1060.  The second of Ernst’s famed collage novels in which nineteenth century illustration is rearranged to a surreal effect.  Some sun fading to the wrappers as is typical, else a fine copy of book that is more often found bound and not in the original wrappers as here.  Spies, Max Ernst Collages 361-386.
