2022 Carménère [clone 2]

These lauded vines mustered only a tiny amount of fruit in the drought-weary weather of the vintage, but what they gave us is a thing of legend. Unbridled lushness, concentration and texture offer a powerhouse expression of this variety, showcasing more structure than vintages past. Surprisingly verdant aromatics to offer a wine that’s exceptionally delicious and utterly unique. The whole flavor sensation lingers in a finish that’s both long and tall (and dark and handsome).  Clone:  Italian and 2 Aging:  Stainless steel fermented and aged in 100% French oak, 50% new, for 18 months.
