Volano UP WBP — Polywarm® 4 Connection Buffer Tank (Outdoor)

Volano UP WBP is an outdoor-rated buffer tank and hydraulic separator designed for modern air-to-water heat pumps and hydronic systems. Built in mild steel with an internal Polywarm® coating, rigid polyurethane insulation, and a tough technopolymer outer shell, it’s made to live outside with the equipment while stabilizing both hot and chilled water systems. In one compact unit, Volano UP WBP provides thermal buffer volume to reduce short cycling and hydraulic separation to decouple heat-pump flow from distribution flow. The wall-hung design keeps patios and service areas clear while still giving installers generous connection options for primary–secondary piping, zones, and sensors. Available in multiple sizes and with 4 connections, Volano UP WBP is a flexible, long-lasting solution for outdoor heat-pump installations that need added thermal mass and cleaner hydraulics.
