DUCK is a ducking or sidechaining module that reduces the level of an audio signal when a CV GATE signal is applied. If you ever have an issue with an overcrowded and muddy mix or you just want to achieve that "sidechaining-sound", DUCK will bail you out without any signal compression. Trigger CV will work, but then you won´t be able to create slow duckings. The module has four potentiometers that control the way the signals is "ducked": AMOUNT sets the overall effect of level reduction. Fully counter-clockwise the level will be released to a maximum amount possible. Fully clockwise there is no level reduction at all. This lets you smoothly fade out the ducking effect which is very useful in live situations. It also give you control over how much of the inserted signal should be reduced in level. HOLD determines the length of level reduction when the gate signal at the GATE input jack is high. If HOLD is turned to the left you will have a rather "plucky" type of level reduction. R
