The 2024 Ameztoi Rubentis Rosado is a vibrant rosé wine from the Getariako Txakolina appellation in Spain's Basque Country. Produced by Bodegas Ameztoi, this wine is a field blend of the indigenous Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza grape varieties. The grapes are handpicked and co-fermented in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts at 15°C for about 20 days. Towards the end of fermentation, the tanks are sealed to preserve the naturally occurring carbonation, resulting in the wine's signature light effervescence. The wine is then aged on lees with bâtonnage for six months before bottling. Visually, the Rubentis Rosado presents a pale pink hue with shades of fuchsia, accompanied by fine and elegant bubbles.
