San Andres Elephant Sleeve Mexican Tunic

This tunic is embroidered using the ancient Mayan waist loom technique.  Made by Tzotzil Artisan Women of San Andress the Larrainzar in the State of Chiapas who have kept the antique Mayan patterns in their brocade and waist loom.  This tunic has frontal loomed embroidery on soft and fresh gauze fabric with details on the Elephant sleeve and tie-back tassel detail on the back of the neck.    This is a one-size item that fits Small to Medium US Sizes.  Some tunics have shorter sleeves.  Please refer to the images to select your favorite sleeve, color, and pattern.
