Lost to Time

Did you know, that blue is the most commonly cited favorite color?  This series of blue paintings uses some of my favorite pigments - cerulean, cobalt, and ultramarine.  These pigments are particularly special in watercolor due to the way the particles settle in the texture of the paper and create a granular effect. 10x10 inches, watercolor on cotton, mounted to panel, sealed and framed. I try to photograph my paintings to show the colors accurately, but please allow for slight variations due to monitor settings and that no two humans perceive color exactly the same way!
