My wheel thrown, hand-painted stoneware dragonfly pottery mug is a beautiful handmade gift for coffee and tea lovers. Each cup is 100% handmade and wheel-thrown. I hand painted with lead-free, non-toxic glaze. A functional piece of ceramic pottery makes a beautiful gift for housewarming, Mother’s Day, birthday, Christmas, hostess, and more! Once the clay was bone dry, I fired to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 8+ hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 8+ hours). The photo shows the actual piece you will receive. Expect slight perfect-imperfections, as each piece is 100% made by hand. In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent, like Dawn. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
