Weld-On 16 – Medium-Bodied Acrylic Cement - DCM & TCE Free Weld-On 16 is a clear, medium-bodied solvent cement formulated for bonding acrylic plastics. The new DCM- and TCE-free formula offers the same trusted performance—strength, clarity, and cure times—as the original version, but with a safer, more environmentally responsible composition. Compared to thin liquid cements such as Weld-On 3 or 4, this medium-bodied cement provides a longer working time and excellent gap-filling properties, making it ideal for applications where precise alignment and edge bonding are required. Its slightly thicker viscosity helps fill minor surface imperfections, though it may be more challenging to achieve completely bubble-free joints. ⚠️ Important Compatibility Note: Not recommended for mirrored or iridescent acrylic sheets (such as Mirror or Radiant Iridescent) as it may damage their film backing.
