Silversmithing Basics 2-Hour Jewelry Making Class

Class Duration  2 hours, 1 session: 9:00-11:00 or 13:30-15:30   Description A perfect class for traveller's looking to experience one of the arts of Bali and make your own piece of jewelry. In this 2 hours basics class, learn the very basics of metalsmithing and make your very own piece of silver jewelry using traditional techniques. This is a great experiential class and an excellent introduction to making silver jewelry for children and adults (age 7+). You will work with wire or sheet to design and make your own piece of jewelry.This class runs from 9:00-11:00 or 13:30 - 15:30 (special times available upon request) Class covers beginning techniques in Tools Sawing Stamping and hammering Soldering Sanding and polishing Working with silver Safety Class sizes are small, with no more than 6 students at a time to allow one-on-one time with the tutors.With the techniques you are shown, you will be able to make 1 piece of jewelry from silver to take home with you.
