This silver coin, a Denarius, was minted by moneyer L. Flaminius Chilo in 109 - 108 BC in Rome. It pictures the helmeted Roma on the front (obverse). Roma was the personification – the representation - of the city of Rome, where this coin was minted.  On the back (reverse) is Victory, the goddess of victory in battle and over death, driving a biga (a sporty, two-horse chariot).
