This silver coin, a Denarius, was minted by moneyer Q. Fabius Labeo in 124 BC in Rome. It pictures the helmeted Roma on the front (obverse). Roma was the personification – the representation of the city of Rome, where this coin was minted. On the back (reverse) is Jupiter, the master god and the god of sky and thunder, driving a quadriga (a four-horse chariot) holding a scepter and reins while hurling a thunderbolt with a prow below.
