Scottish Hat Box Chest of Drawers

Approximate Dimensions: 47.875" Wide, 21.375" Deep, 46.125" Tall Exceptional in stature, this Scottish pine chest has 7 drawers.  The top middle drawer was constructed to hold a gentlemen's hat, an unusual and rare feature dating this chest to the 1860's.  The top left is two separate smaller drawers, while the top right drawer is made to look like two separate drawers.  We love the contrast of the original darker wooden knobs against the pine body.  All drawers are hand cut dovetail construction and glide smoothly.
