  This Isn't Havana 2 & 3, works by Cuban artist Arturo Cuenca are hand colored photograph montage in his one of a kind style. The works measures  10'' x 16'' and were completed in 1991. Arturo Cuenca, (1955-2021) one of Cuba's most important artists, he developed his art in Cuba where he won several prizes for engraving, photography and installation before moving to Mexico in 1989 and to the United States in 1991. Arturo fuses photography with painting and evokes a series of very personal issues including sentiments about exile, loss and death. He has been exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally. His work is in many permanent collections, including the Art Space Gallery in Rotterdam, the Museo de Arte Moderno in Caracas, the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale, and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Havana.  The works are framed in a simple black metal molding frame and signed in the back.
