This distinctive chair is a combination of our sturdy and comfortable tall frame and a seat fashioned out of a combination of genuine cruising and racing sailcloth.  Embellished with navy and red Sunbrella binding trim, sail numbers, and zig zag stitching in red, navy, and white thread, this unique chair provides a nautical flair ideal for beachfront, yacht deck and occasional patio seating. Incredibly comfortable, it has 5 recline positions, a large soft pillow, and a drink holder. This beach chair frame is now available in your choice of 2 woods. Our standard wood is yellow balau (also known as shorea), a dense, oil rich tropical hardwood commonly used for patio furniture.  Or, upgrade to a frame made in premium, plantation grown Teak. Teak, commonly used on yachts and the highest quality outdoor furniture, offers the best weather resistance and is also noticeably lighter than the balau wood.
