Our James Dean boots - The mossy olive color is an act of rebellion Suede leather + full grain leather Leather lining and insole 100% leather soles with eva inner-sole Handcrafted in Uruguay  Brown was easier but we wanted something else, like the exact same color of the walls  of the abandoned livestock plunge dip where we used to play as children. Leather is a natural material which means the reaction to the same coloring process can be different from one piece to another, plus you don´t get to see the final color result until it is completely dry. Like a magician, Gastón, the owner of a small local tannery, thoroughly adjusts the color potion proportions for each wet blue leather hide and we only make a few meters every time to control unpredictable tone differences.  And of course...the finishing  touch...because moss looks kind of wet.
