Antique Art Deco Zebra Wood and Glass Display Cabinet, 1930s
This truly exquisite antique Art Deco zebrawood and glass display cabinet or bar cabinet is circa 1930. It is expertly handcrafted from solid wood and zebrawood veneer with rich, deep browns and gorgeous zebra-striped grain patterning. This large, unique cabinet features two oversized beveled glass doors, each opening on four adjustable and removable shelves. A small center wooden door opens on three smaller adjustable and removable shelves over three dovetailed drawers. The cabinet displays incredible handmade craftsmanship and design detailing, including a decorative brass band border across the top and brass drawer knobs. The finished interiors in a lighter wood tone give the cabinet a two-toned effect. Construction of the interior shelves comprises a darker center band sandwiched by lighter wood, furthering the overall striped and two-toned effect.
