This exceptional vintage mid century Danish modern teak and mahogany wood secretary writing desk with hutch was made in Denmark circa 1960. The cabinet is well-crafted from teak wood with mahogany accents and has a warm honey tone with beautiful natural wood grain. The classic Scandinavian modern design has elegant proportions with clean, minimalist, geometric lines. Resting on an h-stretcher base with squared legs this unique secretary desk features a removable, step-back hutch with small shelves, organizers and drawers with dovetailed design details along the edges. The main desk has three locking dovetailed drawers with original working brass key.
