This pair of vintage mid century modern bent plywood armchairs were designed by Joe Atkinson and manufactured by Thonet Industries in the United States circa 1950. This unique set of chairs features distinctive wooden frames crafted from bent beech plywood with upholstered floating seat and backrest. More recent premium vinyl reupholstery in a lovely shade of cream is in excellent condition. The chairs are structurally sturdy, and flexible in utility.
